What is CVE-2008-4799?

The vulnerability in Netpbm allows context-dependent attackers to initiate a denial of service through the pamperspective function. It does this by failing to accurately calculate window heights, leading to out-of-bounds reads when handling specifically crafted image files, ultimately resulting in a crash of the application.
