Summary

The Resource Monitoring and Control (RMC) daemon in IBM's Hardware Management Console versions 7 release 3.2.0 SP1 and 3.3.0 SP2 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability. Remote attackers can exploit this weakness by sending specially crafted packets with invalid lengths, potentially causing the RMC daemon to crash or hang.
