What is CVE-2008-5209?

A directory traversal vulnerability in Admidio 1.4.8 allows remote attackers to exploit the 'get_file.php' script. By manipulating the file parameter with a '..' (dot dot) sequence, attackers can read arbitrary files on the server. This flaw poses a significant risk, as it may lead to unauthorized access to sensitive data stored on the affected system.
