What is CVE-2008-5587?
A directory traversal vulnerability exists in the phpPgAdmin application, specifically in the libraries/lib.inc.php file. This flaw occurs when the register_globals directive is enabled. It permits remote attackers to exploit the application using crafted input in the _language parameter of index.php, potentially allowing unauthorized access to sensitive files on the server.
