What is CVE-2008-6661?

Multiple integer overflow vulnerabilities exist within the scanning engine of Bitdefender for Linux versions 7.60825 and earlier. These flaws can be exploited by remote attackers through specially crafted NeoLite and ASProtect packed PE files, which can lead to a denial of service (crash) or even the execution of arbitrary code on the affected system.
