What is CVE-2008-7127?

The vulnerability in Borland VisiBroker Smart Agent 08.00.00.C1.03 and its earlier versions can be exploited by remote attackers. It allows them to trigger a denial of service by sending a crafted UDP packet containing a excessively long string to port 14000. This results in a memory allocation failure, which the software fails to handle appropriately, ultimately crashing the service and making it unavailable to legitimate users.
