What is CVE-2008-7290?

A memory leak vulnerability exists in the ldap_explode_rdn API function of IBM Tivoli Directory Server 5.2 prior to version 5.2.0.5-TIV-ITDS-LA0007. This flaw allows remote authenticated users to exploit the function by making excessive calls, which can lead to denial of service through memory consumption.
