What is CVE-2009-0349?
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in FTPShell Server 4.3 that could be exploited by user-assisted remote attackers. By supplying a lengthy string in a licensing key file (.key), an attacker may trigger a denial of service through a persistent daemon crash. Additionally, this flaw poses the risk of arbitrary code execution, potentially compromising the server's integrity.
