Summary

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Microsoft Excel within Microsoft Office 2000 SP3 and Office XP SP3. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute unauthorized code by sending specially crafted Excel files that contain a malformed record object. If exploited, this vulnerability could compromise user systems and lead to unauthorized access or data manipulation.
