What is CVE-2009-0803?

The vulnerability in SmoothWall SmoothGuardian affects systems when running in transparent interception mode. This design flaw allows remote attackers to manipulate HTTP Host headers, creating a bypass for access controls. By crafting a malicious web page, an attacker can exploit this weakness, leading to potential unauthorized communication with restricted intranet sites through technologies such as Flash, Java, and Silverlight.
