What is CVE-2009-0879?

The CIM server in IBM Director prior to version 5.20.3 Service Update 2 on Windows is susceptible to a denial of service attack. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending an M-POST request containing a long consumer name, which can lead to the daemon crashing.
