Summary

The ippReadIO function in cupsd's CUPS versions earlier than 1.3.10 contains a flaw where memory for IPP request packets is not properly initialized. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers to trigger a denial of service condition through a specific scheduler request that contains two consecutive IPP_TAG_UNSUPPORTED tags, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference and subsequent crash of the daemon.
