What is CVE-2009-1159?

A vulnerability exists in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) 5500 Series and certain models of PIX Security Appliances that enables remote attackers to induce a denial of service condition when SQLNet inspection is active. This issue is triggered through specially crafted SQLNet packets, potentially leading to device reload and service unavailability, which compromises network integrity and security.
