What is CVE-2009-20010?
The Dogfood CRM version 2.0.10 is prone to a remote command execution flaw due to improper sanitization of user input in the spell.php script. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands on the server by sending specially crafted POST requests, which are processed without sufficient input validation. As a result, unauthorized users can exploit this vulnerability to gain control over affected systems. The issue is particularly dangerous as it requires no authentication to execute attacks, making it essential for users of Dogfood CRM to apply security updates and implement appropriate security measures to mitigate the risk.
