What is CVE-2009-3084?
A flaw in the msn_slp_process_msg function within the MSN protocol plugin in libpurple versions 2.6.0 and 2.6.1 allows remote attackers to exploit the system by sending specially crafted handwritten messages. This may lead to the application crashing due to an uninitialized variable and an incorrect charset reference, disrupting normal functionality.
