What is CVE-2009-4582?

The Dictionary module in XOOPS version 2.0.18 is susceptible to an SQL injection flaw located in the detail.php file. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers manipulating the id parameter to execute arbitrary SQL commands. Such unauthorized SQL execution can lead to unauthorized access to the database and sensitive data, posing a significant threat to web application integrity.
