What is CVE-2009-4851?

The Profiles module in XOOPS versions prior to 2.4.1 contains a flaw that allows remote attackers to circumvent administrative approval requirements by sending arbitrary requests to the activation resend function. This vulnerability can lead to unauthorized actions within the application, exposing sensitive information and compromising site integrity.
