What is CVE-2009-5032?

A vulnerability exists in IBM Lotus Notes Traveler prior to version 8.5.0.2, where the encrypted email feature may unintentionally send messages in an unencrypted format if a Notes ID file is not uploaded. This oversight can allow remote attackers to intercept sensitive information through network sniffing, posing a significant risk to users’ data privacy and confidentiality.
