What is CVE-2010-0132?

A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in ViewVC versions prior to 1.1.5 and 1.0.11 when the regular expression search functionality is enabled. This flaw allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML through specifically crafted vectors associated with the 'search_re input'. This creates potential security risks as it may lead to unauthorized access, data theft, and compromised user experiences.
