What is CVE-2010-0261?

A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and its Compatibility Pack, which could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This issue arises when an attacker crafts a malicious spreadsheet with a malformed MDXSET record split across several records.
