A race condition in the KRunner lock module of KDE SC 4.4.0 allows physically proximate attackers to bypass the KScreenSaver screen locking feature. By pressing the Enter key at a precise moment during the launch of multiple forked processes, an attacker can gain unauthorized access to an unattended workstation.
