What is CVE-2010-0929?

The Perforce Server 2008.1 contains a vulnerability within its service (p4s.exe) that permits remote attackers to trigger a denial of service. This can be achieved through the transmission of specially crafted data, beginning with the byte sequence 0x4c, 0xb3, 0xff, 0xff, and 0xff. Exploitation of this flaw can result in a crash of the daemon, disrupting service availability.
