Summary

The SIP implementation of Cisco PGW 2200 Softswitch versions prior to 9.8(1)S5 is susceptible to a denial of service condition. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted SIP header that causes the softswitch to crash, disrupting service availability. This issue has been documented under Bug ID CSCsz13590.
