What is CVE-2010-1816?
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the ImageIO component of Apple Mac OS X versions from 10.6 to 10.6.3 and Mac OS X Server 10.6 to 10.6.3. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers through specially crafted images, which can result in arbitrary code execution or a denial of service, causing system crashes.
