What is CVE-2010-20010?
Foxit PDF Reader versions before 4.2.0.0928 are susceptible to stack buffer overflow due to improper boundary checking of the /Title entry in the PDF Info dictionary. Attackers can craft malicious PDF files featuring overly long Title strings, which when opened, may corrupt the Structured Exception Handler (SEH) chain and enable arbitrary code execution within the user's context. This poses a significant security risk as it allows the execution of harmful code without the user's consent.
Affected Version(s)
Foxit PDF Reader * < 4.2.0.0928
