What is CVE-2010-20059?

A security flaw in FreeNAS 0.7.2 prior to revision 5543 allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the web interface. The issue stems from the exec_raw.php script, which exposes a vulnerable cmd parameter that directly interacts with the underlying shell without appropriate input sanitization. This can lead to severe consequences, including unauthorized access and system compromise.
