What is CVE-2010-20115?

The Vermillion FTP Daemon by Arcane Software contains a memory corruption flaw due to an out-of-bounds array access resulting from a malformed FTP PORT command. This vulnerability can be exploited by a knowledgeable attacker with direct access to the FTP service, allowing them to manipulate stack memory and potentially execute arbitrary code. It is important to note that if the daemon is installed as a Windows service, exploits are limited to a single execution attempt.
