The Maplet framework in Maple versions up to and including 13 contains a significant security vulnerability that permits embedded commands to execute automatically upon opening .maplet files. This troubling behavior circumvents established security measures, allowing attackers to create malicious .maplet files that execute arbitrary code without any user interaction, consequently exposing users to potential security breaches.
