What is CVE-2010-20125?

DedeCMS versions prior to 5.7 are susceptible to a file inclusion vulnerability in the plus/carbuyaction.php file. This flaw allows remote attackers, without authentication, to manipulate the include path by altering the uninitialized 'code' parameter passed to the require_once function. By using path traversal sequences such as ../../, an attacker can include arbitrary local files from outside the intended payment directory, resulting in potential local file disclosure. Exploitation of this vulnerability was first observed on October 18, 2023.

Affected Version(s)

DedeCMS 0 < 5.7

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
