What is CVE-2010-2450?

The keygen.sh script used in Shibboleth SP 2.0 can inadvertently generate a DES private key that is accessible to all users on the system. This occurs because the script does not set appropriate file permissions on the generated sp-key.pm file, relying instead on the system's default umask. As a result, sensitive cryptographic keys can be exposed, posing a significant security risk for systems utilizing this software.
