What is CVE-2010-4691?

A vulnerability exists in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) 5500 series devices with software versions prior to 8.3(2). This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers to conduct denial of service attacks, leading to device crashes when targeted with malicious multicast traffic. This issue is also tracked under Bug IDs CSCtg61810 and CSCtg69742.
