What is CVE-2010-5140?

The software wxBitcoin and bitcoind prior to version 0.3.13 contains a flaw in handling Bitcoin transactions that have zero confirmations. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers to induce a denial of service condition by sending numerous low-valued transactions that do not include transaction fees, potentially flooding the system with invalid transactions.
