What is CVE-2011-1515?

The inet service in HP OpenView Storage Data Protector versions 6.00 through 6.20 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability. Remote attackers can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted requests that contain malicious parameters, leading to an unexpected termination of the daemon process. This disruption can affect the availability of the service, ultimately compromising data protection processes within the affected systems.
