What is CVE-2011-1735?

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Backup Client Service of HP OpenView Storage Data Protector. This flaw allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted bm messages. The affected versions, including 6.00, 6.10, and 6.11, can be exploited to compromise system integrity, leading to unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
