What is CVE-2011-2144?

The eDocument Conversion Actions feature in IBM Datacap Taskmaster Capture versions 8.0.1 FP1 and earlier is susceptible to a denial of service attack. This flaw allows remote attackers to disrupt application functionality by sending an e-mail message with an excessively long subject line, which is processed through a .eml file format. The result is a batch abort, rendering the service temporarily unavailable. Organizations utilizing affected versions should consider implementing protective measures to mitigate this risk.
