What is CVE-2011-2592?

A heap-based buffer overflow has been identified in the StartEpa method of the nsepacom ActiveX control (nsepa.exe) used in the Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise Edition Plug-in for Windows. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to exploit a long CSEC HTTP response header to execute arbitrary code on the affected systems. The affected versions include the Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise Edition Plug-in for Windows 9.x prior to 9.3-57.5 and 10.0 before 10.0-69.4, making it crucial for users to apply the necessary patches to mitigate the risk.
