What is CVE-2011-2744?

A directory traversal vulnerability exists in Chyrp versions 2.1 and earlier, enabling remote attackers to exploit improper input validation. By manipulating the action parameter with a specially crafted URI containing a '..%2F' sequence, attackers can access and execute arbitrary local files. This vulnerability highlights the need for adequate input sanitization to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive files on the server.
