A directory traversal vulnerability in the FileDownload.jsp component of ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus versions 8.0.0.12 and earlier permits remote attackers to access arbitrary files on the server by manipulating the FILENAME parameter. By inserting a .. (dot dot) sequence, an attacker can break out of the intended directory restrictions, potentially leading to unauthorized data exposure and exploitation of sensitive information.
