What is CVE-2011-4972?

The CKEditor module version 7.x-1.4 for Drupal contains a vulnerability in the hook_file_download functionality, which fails to enforce adequate access restrictions on private files. As a result, remote attackers can exploit this flaw to gain unauthorized access to private files by directly requesting them, potentially compromising sensitive information within the Drupal environment.
