What is CVE-2012-0206?

A vulnerability exists in PowerDNS Authoritative Server that allows remote attackers to create a denial of service condition by sending specially crafted UDP DNS responses. This flaw can lead to a packet loop, severely disrupting service availability and affecting overall performance for users relying on the DNS service.
