Summary
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) 5500 series versions 8.0 through 8.4 are vulnerable to a denial of service condition. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to exploit a flaw that occurs when a large number of stale connections are established, causing an inaccurate count of the maximum permissible connections. The result is that the device may reach its connection limit, leading to service disruption for legitimate users.
