What is CVE-2012-0803?
The WS-SP UsernameToken policy employed in Apache CXF versions 2.4.5 and 2.5.1 contains a flaw that allows remote attackers to bypass authentication mechanisms. By sending an empty UsernameToken as part of a SOAP request, attackers can gain unauthorized access, potentially compromising sensitive data and functionalities within applications utilizing this framework.
