What is CVE-2012-10022?

The Kloxo control panel has a vulnerability present in versions 6.1.12 and earlier, involving two setuid root binaries, lxsuexec and lxrestart. This security flaw allows users with uid 48, commonly associated with Apache access, to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. Because the lxsuexec binary performs a uid check, attackers exploiting this issue can escalate their privileges to root without requiring additional authentication. It poses a significant risk to system integrity and security.
