What is CVE-2012-10043?

A vulnerability exists in ActFax Server version 4.32 within its 'Import Users from File' feature. This issue arises from improper validation of tab-delimited fields in .exp files, allowing an attacker to exploit buffer overflows during CSV parsing. By crafting a malicious .exp file, a user can trigger this flaw using the default ECMA-94 / Latin 1 character set, potentially leading to unauthorized code execution and full system compromise. Successful exploitation requires user initiation.
