What is CVE-2012-10044?

The MobileCartly application, specifically version 1.0, suffers from an arbitrary file creation vulnerability caused by insufficient authentication and authorization checks in the savepage.php script. This flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to send specially crafted HTTP GET requests to savepage.php, allowing them to specify the filename and content for arbitrary files. As a result, malicious actors can create files within the pages/ directory or any other writable location on the server, potentially leading to remote code execution and significant security breaches.
