What is CVE-2012-10052?
EGallery version 1.2 is susceptible to an arbitrary file upload vulnerability due to insufficient validation of file types in the uploadify.php script. This flaw permits remote attackers to upload malicious PHP files directly to the web-accessible egallery/ directory. If exploited, this vulnerability can lead to full remote code execution within the web server context, compromising the security of the application.
