What is CVE-2012-1059?
A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the OSCommerce Online Merchant version 3.0.2, specifically in the file located at osCommerce/OM/Core/Site/Shop/Application/Cart/pages/main.php. This flaw permits remote attackers to inject malicious web scripts or HTML code through the 'value_title' parameter. This exploitation can occur, for example, via the 'Front' field in the shirt module, potentially leading to unauthorized actions performed on behalf of users, exposing sensitive information or compromising user sessions.
