What is CVE-2012-1222?
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in RabidHamster R2/Extreme versions 1.65 and earlier. This flaw allows authenticated remote users to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted long string to TCP port 23. As a result, an attacker could gain unauthorized access to the system, leading to potential exploitation and serious security threats.
