What is CVE-2012-2980?

Samsung and HTC have a vulnerability in the onTouchEvent method implementation for specific Android devices. This flaw stores touch coordinates in the dmesg buffer, allowing remote attackers to access sensitive information, including PIN numbers, phone numbers, and text messages through a specially crafted application.
