What is CVE-2012-3073?

The Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch, TelePresence Manager, and TelePresence Recording Server are susceptible to denial of service attacks. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending malformed IP packets or by overwhelming the system with a rapid succession of TCP connection requests or terminations. Such actions may lead to severe network outages or crashes of crucial processes, impacting overall service availability.
